What is Philmont?  Philmont Scout Ranch is a National BSA High Adventure Camp located in New Mexico.   Philmont Scout Ranch is the Boy Scouts of America’s largest national High Adventure Base. Its 34 staffed camps and 55 trail camps provide an unforgettable adventure in the high country along hundreds of miles of rugged, rocky trails.

Who is eligible to go to Philmont?

  • Must be 14 years old by the time we leave, or 13 and completed 8th grade;
  • Must be over 100 lbs; and
  • Must be Star rank or above.
